Koh tong
Currently on Koh rong Aka paradise island in Southern Cambodia. The beaches here are amazing but the wifi is really patchy. Really beautiful place. There’s been a slight change of plan, and I’m going somewhere new on the 20th but I’ll leave it as a surprise…

Ankor wat!
After what was supposed to be a 12 hr bus ride (actually 22h) and virtually no sleep, we arrived in Siem Reap at 5am today. After making out way to the hostel we jumped straight in a tuk tuk and headed to ankor eat for sunrise. Here’s a select few pics. What an amazing place.
Cambodia tomorrow
We’ve booked the bus from Don Det to Siem Reap for tomorrow. I’m nearly out of kip & don’t want to get any more out, so I’m attempting to survive the rest of the day with £2 – including an evening meal. It’s crazy that that’s possible here!

Vang vieng, a Laos wedding & tubing!
Vang vieng is truly a crazy place to be, and home of what is probably the worlds most controversial tourist activity – tubing.
The owner of our guest house invited us to his cousins wedding. They’re quite a lot like English weddings, with loads of food & drinks. We learned the Laos dance (make steps in a square, no movement of hips).
Yesterday was tubing – floating down the river in a giant inner tube, stopping at bars along the way. The weather wasn’t the best & we set off late, so ended up down the river in the dark. Seriously fun though.
Today 6 of us are heading down south to 4,000 Islands in the Mekong river. It’s 20 hours on the bus. First off we go to Vientiane, then a sleeper bus onward. After that Cambodia 🙂
